I have worked in a wide variety of museums, galleries and public history institutions. I have served in many capacities (and sometimes, when budgets were tight, in ALL capacities). I have worked with many different kinds of collections, ranging from military uniforms and equipment to fine art, letters and oral histories. My academic background includes degrees in art history, museum studies and history/secondary education.

Throughout all of these experiences, one thing has been constant: I find history- big or small, fascinating and worthy of our deepest respect.

I believe fervently in the dictate "each one teach one ". I love the act of recording and cataloging memories and I am enthusiastic about teaching others how to hold their own past (and present) with reverence. I'm also dedicated to showing my clients how to acknowledge their role in actively making, tending and caring for their own on-going historical legacy.
